Welcome to K&J Rabbits - an ARBA registered rabbitry in south-central Wisconsin owned by the Keiser Family.

K&J Rabbits got started when Kerry choose rabbits as a 4H project. Of course I could not buy Kerry a rabbit without buying Jenna one. Our first two rabbits were a Dutch and a Satin – without pedigrees and incorrectly sexed. They resided in the house and were neutered when we discovered they were bucks, which became evident when they began spraying our walls during their adolescence!  I then found out that neutered rabbits could not be shown in breed classes.....

That led to the purchase of a nice Mini-Rex doe for Kerry and a Holland Lop doe for Jenna. Both were in fact does and had pedigrees. The purchase of bucks followed and then of course our first litters. At this point we maintain small numbers of Mini-Rex, Harlequins, Holland Lops, and Jersey Woolies. We selectively breed just a few litters each year. We handle our rabbits daily and from birth; each rabbit enjoying outdoor playtime and lots of attention!  And of course we have the first two pet rabbits we purchased – Oreo and Midnight - who will forever be our mascots!

In addition to 4-H events and fairs, we attend about a dozen or more ARBA rabbit shows each year, where Kerry and Jenna have enjoyed some nice success with their rabbits.

As of fall 2006, you can view our rabbitry online!  Our website is broken down into segments about each of our rabbit breeds, plus an entire segment about Jenna's Campbell's Dwarf Hamsters.  More information and pictures will be added as we continue to develop our website and be sure to visit our new blog, Rabbit & Hamster Happenings, for daily rabbitry and hamstery news at K&J Rabbits.

We hope you enjoy your visit today~
